On Saturday, March 3 we’re running our fourth Broken Arts Fair from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the McLaughlin branch of the Oshawa Public Libraries.
The event will feature art, crafts, zines, fashion, jewelry, photography, CD’s, and food for sale from Jeanette Bartosik, Beestung Kisses, Broken Arts Zine Distro, Dani Crosby, Tina & Chris Delong, Funky Monkey’s etc., Tammy Gay, Larissa Gibson, Gumdrop Buckshot, Ryan Howe, Life In A Lens Photography, Mad Cafe, Erin Pazaratz, Amanda Sampson, Sew Tara, Sexy Lady Finery, Stalk- 5 letter words, and Watershed Hour.
There will be scheduled readings from writers including Sarah Crookall, Tammy Gay, Hopeless Romantic, Harley R. Pageot, and Yumna Sawnya.
Musical performances will be provided by Bird Boys, Elephant Shoes, Lauren Heenan, Watershed Hour, and WHY Blue.
There will also be a “specimens” themed art show.
Space is sold out for vendors but we are still looking for more readers, acoustic musical acts, and artists interested in contributing to the gallery. Contact info@brokenarts.ca for more information.
