1. They’re all-ages. All ages. Little kids, senior citizens, and everyone in between.

2. They’re free.

3. They wrap by 9 p.m.

4. Every show has a fun theme, like Hawaii, The 1920’s, or Back To School.

5. They’re always changing up the genres. Jazz, rock, hip-hop, folk, electro, country, and soul are just some of the sounds they’ve had.

6. They always have local DIY artists making magnets and pins for you or running photo booths.

7. They support local bands but they also bring in outside acts who rarely play (sometimes having never before played) Oshawa.

8. The gallery is big enough to get lost in and the art changes frequently. Every FF you get to check out a new batch of cool paintings and installations.

9. They’re the social event of the month. Go to any given FF and you’ll find the crowd filled with musicians, artists, press, and members of government council. You’ll likely also run into half a dozen of your friends.
